従来のペンは、「クリップには滑りにくい素材」「繰り出し部は指でつまみやすい形状」といったように、機能が各部材に割り当てられ、部分と全体の調和によってデザインが成立する。
このペンは、あらゆる機能を単一のシリコンゴムの塊の中に内包し、それらが溶け合いながら共存している。素材、部材、機能、意匠といったすべての構成要素は等価となり、明確な境界を持たない。
チョークを握るようなノイズのない感覚を通して、筆記行為そのものと素直に向き合うことを目指した。こんにゃくを捻るような、世界初の繰り出し方式は、KACO社によるエンジニアリングへの真摯な挑戦を体現している。

Conventional pens assign specific functions to individual components—for example, a non-slip material for the clip or a shape that is easy to pinch for the retracting mechanism—achieving their design through the harmony between parts and the whole.
In contrast, this pen integrates all functions into a single mass of silicone rubber, where they coexist and dissolve into one another. Material, components, functions, and design are all fused and rendered equivalent.
By eliminating visual and tactile noise and aiming for the directness of holding a piece of chalk, the pen seeks to allow the user to engage with writing in a pure and honest manner.The twisting mechanism, unprecedented anywhere in the world and reminiscent of twisting a piece of konjac, embodies KACO’s sincere engineering challenge and innovative spirit.
