横浜・川崎・東京・埼玉に35ヶ所の園を展開する許認可保育所、ヒューマンスターチャイルド株式会社と共に開発したオリジナルの運動帽子。園児・保育士・親のそれぞれの行動や視点を観察し、長年形の変わらない運動帽子のリデザインを行った。

背面の首元に装着されるネックガード（日除け）を後頭部に移動し、下に垂らすのでなく”後ろに延ばす”ことで、肌に触れない。また、あご紐の固定方法を縫い付けるのでなく、ループに”結び付ける”ことで面倒な交換を容易にした。

こども達がこの帽子を被り、元気に園庭を駆け回り散歩で街に出ることで、街の風景の一部にとして定着していくことを願っている。

An original exercise hat developed with Human Star Child Corporation, a licensed daycare center with 35 locations in Yokohama, Kawasaki, Tokyo, and Saitama. Based on observations of the behavior and perspectives of preschool children, caregivers, and parents, we redesigned an athletic hat that has remained unchanged in shape for many years.The neck guard (sunshade) attached to the back of the hat was moved to the back of the head, and instead of hanging down, it was “extended back” so that it does not touch the skin. The chinstrap is “tied” to a loop instead of being sewn on, making it easier to change.We hope that the hats will become a part of the cityscape as children wear them and cheerfully run around the school yard or go for walks in the city.
